One of the country’s most exciting emerging photographers, Mike Heydon has rapidly established a stunning portfolio of award-winning commercial and editorial images.
His photojournalism talent was recognised when he was awarded two Qantas Media Awards. The previous year, Mike scooped the field to win the NZCNA Young Photographer of the Year. Now working from both Wellington and Wairarapa, Mike's photojournalism work appears for magazines including North & South, NZ Life & Leisure, Unlimited, IdeaLog and b-guided as well as newspapers including The DominionPost and Herald on Sunday. Mike travels throughout New Zealand for commercial clients including Inland Revenue, Fonterra, Contact Energy, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Triathlon NZ and The Cancer Society.
